The Scene is set…

We all know how important seeing a space with furniture and decor in it can be. That’s why we all search for “real weddings” when we seek out photos of our dream venue. For that reason, the Director of Events, Hope Rechsteiner got together with an incredible team of vendors to put together a lovely styled shoot in November of 2020. Due to Covid concerns, the photos here cannot picture a crowd filling those seats and partying on the dance floor, but we will get there soon enough! All photos are by Read McKendree

The barn doors are draped with a sheer cream curtain and the table is set in an autumn palette with pops of eucalyptus green and Pantone color of the year Illuminating.

A late autumn shoot…

Another view of the reception space with skylights and a mezzanine

Looking for one of those overhead shots of your wedding reception?

The barn features a mezzanine that overlooks the entire wedding reception. Beautiful skylights let in natural light, quaint ceiling fans, and string lights for when the sun sets. Best of all, the mezzanine has plenty of room for a breakaway location for guests to be able to relax away from the party. The possibilities for this space are endless - hire a cigar roller, live artist, set up lawn games right inside - there is that much room in the mezzanine.

A shot of the reception space from the mezzanine above the action. String lights, cream curtain and greenery at the barn doors and you have yourself a rustic chic wedding.

The bar was designed with your florist and wedding designer in mind…

Built with a design grid for easy installation of wedding design elements. I can tell you from experience, having a feature like this built in not only adds to the possibilities for your decor, but will save you money on installation costs.

Cocktail hour will be held under the covered porch of the barn with plenty of space for guests. Pictured here are cocktail tables with cross-back chairs

Cocktail hour…

Just a short walk down the path after the outdoor ceremony overlooking the North Branch River, you will find an expansive covered porch with multiple bars. The porch is not just the perfect place for your cocktail hour, but it also overlooks the pond - a serene spot to escape the party.

Newly renovated hotel room includes 60’s accents like a kidney bean shaped table and geometric prints

Last but not least…

Don’t forget about those hotel rooms! It is becoming one of the biggest challenges in the Catskills region - housing your wedding guests. Having all of your guests onsite means you are not shuttling anyone in and you get to have a maximum amount of time together. The wedding couples’ dreams are pictured above in that gorgeous barn, but this is a wedding planner’s dream.
